Willow took one last look around her room before picking up her bag
and turning to leave. It wasn't running away when there was nothing
left to run from. When your heart had been torn from you and all your
friends looked at you with fear in their eyes. It wasn't running
away. It was common sense. Buffy had wanted to be there for her. She
knew that, but she also noticed that she flinched whenever Willow
moved towards her, whenever Willow moved towards Dawn. She didn't
blame her. It was only common sense. Willow was a hazard. Buffy's
spider sense must sing it to her every day.

Xander didn't flinch; he didn't care what she had done. He was her
best friend again. After all the drifting in their friendship all it
took was for Willow to threaten to destroy the world and it was just
like old times, except it wasn't. She had killed and he hadn't. That
was a bridge that couldn't be crossed. So she was leaving, not
running away. Xander knew where she was going. He had guessed in the
way that best friend's do that she would leave. He also guessed that
it would be to a completely different world. Where no one would look
at her with fear in their eyes.

So she had packed her bags and taken one last look around the room
that symbolised the happiest she had been and the depths of her
despair. Xander was waiting in the car to take her to the airport.
She had decided to leave Sunnydale and join her uncles. She knew it
would be difficult to adjust but she couldn't stay here anymore. It
just wasn't common sense.

Willow sat back in her seat as the plane came in to land. She still
wasn't sure if she was doing the right thing, but deep down she knew
that Sunnydale wasn't home for her anymore. Warren had made sure of
that. Silently she hoped one of her uncles would be able to pick her
up. She realised they had busy schedules so she wasn't holding out
much hope. That they had been able to get her a pass to tag along for
a few months was testimony to how persuasive they could be. She
grinned slightly at that. She certainly wouldn't argue with them.
Hopefully she could put her demons behind her and be looked after by
people who were not afraid of her. She needed that so much.

After collecting her bags she made her way to the arrivals lounge.
She arched her head to see if her uncles were there. Slightly
disappointed that she couldn't see them she began looking around for
anyone else who looked like they might be waiting for her. She
noticed someone holding a sign up with her name. She walked up to him
and tapped him on the shoulder, "Excuse, but I'm Willow Rosenberg, I
think you might be waiting for me." The man with the sign looked at
her then nodded. "Yes Miss. Rosenberg, your uncles told me to inform
you that they were very sorry they couldn't pick you up from the
airport and that they'd see you at the hotel. Willow nodded. Picking
up her bags the driver turned and said, "If you'll follow me I'll
drive you there."

Willow shrugged she hadn't really expected her uncles to be there for
her. They probably had a match or something that evening, and at
least they had sent a driver to pick her up. She followed the man to
the exit. As they went from the comfortable air-conditioned building
to the sweltering hot outdoors she noticed a large bike parked to one
side. It seemed very familiar. That was all that registered before
her giant of an uncle swept her up in a hug. "You didn't think we'd
not be here to pick you up did you little one. What kind of an uncle
would I be if I did that." Willow laughed, she had forgotten about
her uncles taste for practical jokes, "Uncle Mark, put me down I need
to breathe."

Willow knew her uncles character was a sadistic b*st*rd, but she
didn't realise he brought this into his real life as well. It was the
only possible explanation as to why she was clinging on to him for
dear life as they sped along the highway from the airport to the
hotel. Why oh why had she said she didn't mind, that she'd prefer to
go with Mark than stay in the nice safe warm confines of the people
carrier her luggage had disappeared in.

It suddenly occurred to her that this was her penance, to spend
eternity on a bike with her certifiable uncle. He had to be insane to
be going at the speed they were going at. She was so caught up in the
terror of her first deadman inc motorbike ride that she failed to
notice them pulling into a hotel parking lot. Mark drove them up to
the front doors and stopped smoothly. They had in fact been doing a
respectively safe 55 miles per hour, but this was irrelevant to
Willow.

Her uncle stepped off the bike, turned around and picked her up. "I
wish you'd stop doing that mark, It makes me feel ten years old
again." Mark just grinned down at her, "Well it's been nearly that
long since I've seen you. I think it was your bar mitzvah when I saw
you last." Willow frowned. She remembered all too clearly why that
had been the last time she had seen her two favourite uncles.

The Orthodox  Jewish community had not been too impressed when the
Undertaker and Kane had turned up in full costume for the occasion.
Her dad had been adamant that they were not going to associate with
those two again. And her mother had agreed to not see her brothers,
for the sake of peace with her dad's family.

Shaking that unpleasant memory from her head she smiled up at her
uncle. "C'mon taker, show me around this rather lush hotel, and I
want to see Kane, where is he anyways?"

---------

Willow looked around the hotel foyer. It was very
posh. She hadn't expected wrestlers to live in this
kind of style but then again it had been awhile since
she had been on the set of WWE. Her uncle was getting
her a room key. She had her very own room in a lush
hotel. Frowning slightly she realised that Mark hadn't
answered her questions about Kane yet. Where was the
Big Red guy?

The Undertaker smiled as he looked across the room to
his niece. It had been so long since they'd seen each
other. He shook his head. He had to explain some
things to her, like where Kane was. He knew she wasn't
going to like it one bit. He shrugged slightly. He'd
cross that bridge when he came to it.  He moved across
the foyer to his niece. "Your bags have already gone
up, red, so we just need to find our way there." He
motioned towards the lift.

Willow followed him slowly. He was acting a little
odd. She really hoped that the feud with Kane he was
having on the show hadn't followed over into real
life. She knew how difficult keeping your private life
separate from your public persona was. She entered the
lift, vowing silently to find out what was going on.
The undertaker for his part watched his niece closely.
He could see the thought process whirring away. He
hoped she would listen to him. He was sure she'd be a
little upset with him, and Kane but well, at the
moment there wasn't much he could do.

They found her room without much difficulty as it was
situated right beside Mark's own room. As soon as the
door closed Willow turned around. "What is up with
Kane, you seem to be avoiding explaining where he is.
Your not feuding with him are you?" Mark couldn't help
it, he burst out laughing. She thought he was taking a
storyline too far into the real world. "Oh no, little
one, I'm not fighting with my brother, ehrm but you'd
better sit down. I don't think your going to like what
I am going to say."

Mark sat down opposite Willow. The little redhead
looked decidedly nervous. "Is it me? Does he not want
to see me? If that's it then its ok, cause you know he
doesn't have to see me if he doesn't want to."
Reaching out Mark stilled her. "Little one, of course
he wants to see you. It's just well he came up wit
this crazy idea..." Willow looked at her uncle, "Right
so he wants to see me but he's not about, and now
you're talking crazy ideas. Why am I not liking the
sound of this."

Taker grinned. "It's like this. We know you had to
leave Sunnydale for a reason, and I know you aren't
willing to go into it yet, and this is time out for
you. Kane thought that time out might be a little bit
more fun for you if you were to get involved in the
business while you're here. Take up a storyline or
two. That's where he is now... ironing out your
storyline!!" He paused and looked at her afraid or her
reaction. Her stagefright was legendary so he didn't
know if she would freak. Instead of freaking though it
looked like she was mulling the idea over.

Willow thought it over. On the face of it, it seemed
like an incredibly stupid idea, but she realised that
her uncle may be right. Maybe throwing herself into
this might help her deal with everything that had
happened, everything she had done. She was a long way
from being right and she knew that. The fact that she
couldn't speak about the past six months was evidence
enough that she was far from out of murky waters. If
she kept busy though she might heal. She might be able
to remember Tara without the gaping chasm of her grief
swallowing her up.

She looked up at her uncle, struggling once again to
keep the tears in, "What would I have to do Mark, I
mean I can't even wrestle."

-------------

Kane left the office very happy with himself. He
believed he had an ideal story for his little angel of
a niece. He felt he had to make up for the years since
he had last seen her. He hoped she wouldn't freak when
she found out that she'd be in front of thousands of
people while she stayed with them. If she really
objected they'd be able to cope but he thought that
having his little Willow in the business would be
cool, especially with the character they had planned.

He grimaced slightly as he headed for the hotel. He
hoped his brother wouldn't be too unhappy either
seeing as the storyline heavily involved the
Undertaker. And it would be as a full on heel. Not
that that was new to Mark, but in this case he was
going to be playing heel to Willow's face character.
He ignored the many stares as he entered into the
hotel. Not that, he mused to himself, Willow's
character was going to be a complete goody. Oh no, the
Brothers of Destruction couldn't allow that. She would
have to be someway dark, that was for sure.

He knocked on the hotel room he knew was Wilow's. Well
here goes nothing, he thought to himself. Controlling
a giggle he entered the room.

Willow looked up at the knock on the door. As soon as
her uncle came through the door she launched herself
at him. Hugging him tightly she started berating him,
"What have you got planned for me, I mean I have never
wrestled in my life, and here you are planning stories
for me." She paused and Kane took that moment to leap
in. He knelt down, "Sweetie, I know you are going
through some bad times at the moment. I thought that
if you got involved in the business it might help, you
know take your mind off things. And don't worry about
the wrestling, we know you can fight, at least if
you've been going to the self defence classes that we
bought for you, you can fight. And Lita, one of the
female wrestlers here is going to take you for morning
training sessions so you can learn to wrestle properly
and not hurt yourself."

Willow looked down into the eyes of her uncle. "You're
probably right. There's a lot... there's some stuff
that happened, that I can't tell you right now, I'm
not sure I can even think about it fully. Maybe I need
to be someone else for a while..", pausing again
before shrugging off the depressed mood, "What's this
new me going to be like then?" Her uncles watched her
in concern. They could see she was bottling up
everything. She needed to talk and talk soon.
Otherwise it would end badly for her. Kane spoke
first.

"Well, how do I put this. Mark, Willow please sit
down." His brother and niece exchanged a look before
sitting down. "Vince has come up with an idea. He
wants The Undertaker and Triple H in a feud again.
Apparantly it was good for ratings the last time, and
he wants the Game to get some storylines before he
comes back officially from injury. Which should be in
the next few weeks. So he wants to use Willow to kick
start the feud. But not as our niece. Well she'll
still be my niece but he wants her to play your
daughter Mark... I don't know if you'll be happy with
that." Mark sat up. "Why wouldn't I be happy with
that. I'd love to have Willow as a daughter." He
dragged his niece into a hug. She giggled lightly at
him.

"Well you see that's the thing. You're not going to be
a good dad. In fact you will have abandoned her quite
early on. And that's where the feud starts with you,
Willow joining the WWE as Takers daughter and Triple H
finding out who you are. They two of you combine to
wreck with his head and there will be a huge match at
the end of it all with the outcome to be decided."
Kane sat down. Willow grinned. She would get to
channel all the badness in her into this new
character. She would be able to just be Willow again.
She wouldn't be a threat to the world anymore. This
could be the perfect solution. "So what's my name
gonna be?" she asked.

Kane shrugged, "Vince said to leave that and your look
up to you. Well sort of. He's given me a few intro
tracks to work around." Willow bounced up and down on
the bed, "Do I get to be bad?" Kane laughed. "Well
strictly speaking, you're a face but in this family
that means very little, so yeah, you get to be bad."
He reached into his bag and brought out a c.d., "All
the tracks he likes are on here , have a listen and
decide which one you want for your intro music. We can
go from there."

--------

Willow stretched her arms above her head. It had been
3 days since she had come to the WWE. Three days since
she had agreed to her uncles insane plan to turn her
into a Diva. Her body ached. She knew that she was
getting off lightly. If she hadn't been fighting
alongside Buffy for so many years there would be no
way she would cope. She had been flung from very
corner of the ring. All in the name of training. She
was convinced Lita was some sort of demon. There was
no other explanation. Well aside from long hours of
training in the gym.

She was beginning to enjoy herself though. She had
been able to catch the other wrestler off guard a few
times using patented Buffy moves. Working the kinks
out of her muscles she stretched again. She was the
WWE's big secret. Not even Lita knew what her
storyline was exactly. Only her uncles, Hunter and
herself knew the full plot. She had a new name, a
theme song that had been altered just slightly, and a
hot wrestler to pair off with.

Not that she was thinking about hot wrestlers. It was
just that they were everywhere. She couldn't help it
if they entered her mind. She still loved Tara. She
didn't want to replace her. Her mind once again took
that journey to the moment when she had lost her.
"Your shirt.." over and over. Tears leaked out of her
closed eyes. She mentally shook herself. This was why
she left. She couldn't stay stuck in that room
forever. It could lead to bad things. She grabbed her
towel and headed for the showers, not noticing the
blonde wrestler she passed.

Hunter shook his head. He had been watching his little
partner for the morning. She was good. A natural,
probably in the genes given who her uncles were. He
began to get concerned when she seemed to head off
into her own little world. She had been doing that a
lot in the last few days. Only really brightening when
she was in the company of her uncles. He was beginning
to be concerned about the redhead. Tonight was the
first night she would be up in front of the audience.
If she wasn't 100% then it could all go horribly
wrong. Shaking his head he left the gym. He hoped her
uncles would look after her.
